What is Style

Is it a haircut? The right shoes or shirt. A combo of all three?

I don’t think it has much to do with any of those. It’s more about living the style of life you want. Where do your shoes fit into that? Where don’t they fit in?

What’s your full throttle? What’s your chill?

Deciding how much go you have and how much down time you need should have nothing to do with what’s trending but everything to do with what works for you. Yup even all the way down to your haircut.

Do you want to spend 30 seconds, 3 mins, or 30 mins on your hair everyday? Being someone who has done it myself, I would strongly discourage you from spending more than 30 mins a day on hair. If you are going to do that anyway, I recommend multitasking while you do. Doing your hair is an exercise in self expression, it is identity confirming. If personal growth is something you value like I do, then we have to have our belief systems even our very identity challenged as often as we can stomach. So listen to a podcast that you wholeheartedly disagree with the host of . Acting out one of the simplest acts of self expression like doing your hair while listening to something you disagree with at your core is practise in holding two contradicting thoughts at the same time.

Doing things like this. Reading books and articles of people I don’t like or agree with. Finding the time to spend with people that have a different world view than me, is a good reminder that we all hold contradicting beliefs. It helped me reconcile some of my own .( I think you should have a good haircut, I also don’t give a shit about your hair!) It also helped me respect other people’s journeys . Accept people for where they are, so I can support them where they are not. That’s what I want from others. And as far as this conflicting paradoxical self is concerned; Humans doing that for each other is a pretty steezy way to live your life.
